A Reflection on A Course In Miracles

A Course in Miracle says; Miracles reawaken the awareness that the spirit, not the body is the altar of truth.

This quote struck me while I was reading last evening because I spent yesterday with my friend and healer Richard Learmont.  I spent 4 hours with him learning about Human Design. He showed me how I energetically respond to life. This was a huge eye opener as most of my intuition was confirmed during our session.

Human Design is a science of self-discovery. It’s a mapping system that reveals how each one of us is uniquely energetically wired. It shows us how we can respond to life with less resistance and deepen our awareness to live in alignment with our true purpose. It is very powerful work!

I have always been deeply connected to my body and whenever I feel out of alignment my body physically manifests and send me signals or symptoms.

I have always thought of my body as my compass to let me know which way I should go. Does this feel right? Do I feel healthy? Exhausted? Etc?

I thought my body was telling me my deepest truth but really my body is only reacting to what is happening in the spirit or energetically. Because I am a deeply emotional and intuitive I can hold unwanted spiritual energy in my body that can lead to pain and stress.

What I have learned is that there is so much information happening on spiritual/energetic levels that most if us are not conscious of on a daily basis. The goal is to become more aware of how our exoteric (external reality) and esoteric (inner teaching) systems come together and respond to our world.

In our session we discussed how our bodies are like our vehicles and our spirits (divine self/GOD) are the drivers. Don’t you think it is important to know who is driving? I know that I definitely want Jesus to take the wheel…LOL

I have always known that my body is a vessel in which my spirit flows because how can we be our bodies when are bodies keep changing? We once were babies in a tiny; little bodies then teenagers and so on. I mean I am now a woman whose body changes LITERALLY every month!

This got me thinking about one truth and that is how important feeding my spirit is to my well-being.

The first step is to become aware of what is happening spiritually/energetically.

Step 2 is to then to take action to heal/correct that pattern of behavior. I have tried pretty much every type of healing modality out there and sometimes when our bodies are in pain or di-eased we have to work backwards to find the root of our suffering.

What I have learned from my experience is that there is nothing more healing to our spirit than the power of prayer. We must step into the supernatural to heal the physical. Once our spirits are feed, we tend to have more loving, positive thoughts and from this place we make healthier decisions for our bodies.

It is quite simple actually-

1.) Feed Your Spirit

2.) Feed Your Mind

3.) Feed Your Body

These are the basic principles of fasting. And why do people fast? Fasting is a means of getting our minds back on the reality that we are not self-sufficient. Fasting helps us realize just how fragile we are and how much we depend on things beyond ourselves. The Bible records that great men of faith such as Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Paul and Jesus Himself fasted so that they might draw closer to God. – From http://www.ucg.org
